Integrating the HUB2 payment API requires more work than the transfer API, because the end customer has to take part in the process.
Payment lifecycle (asynchronous circuit)
This is the usual way the HUB2 API handles payments. It may vary depending on the scenario and the provider.
Payment lifecycle (synchronous circuit)
In this circuit, the payment attempt (POST /payment-intents/{id}/payments/sync) waits for the provider response before returning. Merchants receive the redirection link directly in the response, without subscribing to a webhook or polling.
This circuit is not enabled by default: HUB2 Support enables it per merchant and per provider. Contact HUB2 Support for more information.
